Eryc

Eryc (Erythromycin) has been found useful in the treatment of a large list of bacterial infections. This medication works by retarding the growth of bacteria. It also sometimes kills the bacteria by depriving the bacteria of the proteins that are needed for their growth.

Generic Eryc (Erythromycin) can be taken with or without meals, with sufficient water. If required, these capsules can be taken with food to lessen stomach problems. Grapefruit or grapefruit juices should be avoided whilst taking Eryc.

These capsules are required to be swallowed whole without any breakage, crushing or chewing. Eryc capsules are designed for slow release in the body and hence are delayed-release capsules. Eryc overdose may cause cramps in the stomach, vomiting and sickness among others. Contact the local poison control center immediately, by calling 1-800-222-1222, in case of an Eryc overdose. Emergency services on 911 can also be called for assistance, if required.

It may happen that sometimes, through oversight that you may not remember to take your scheduled dose. Missing a dose may delay your recovery.
