Drontal Plus Canine

Each tablet contains:
50 mg Pranziquantel
144 mg Pyrantel Embonate
150 mg Febantel

Each ml of Drontal Puppy Oral Suspension for Puppies contains:

Pyrantel pamoate 14.4mg
Febantel 15mg

For puppies and young dogs up to one year of age.

Follow instructions as given by the veterinarian.

In few cases these side effects can be seen :
Dogs :
Anorexia
Vomiting
Diarrhea
Lethargy

Cats :
Diarrhea
Salivation

Inform your doctor if your pet(s) are allergic to the formulation of this medication or any other medication in any other form.

Inform your veterinarian and pharmacist what other medication(s) your pet(s) is taking, in any form.

Contact your veterinarian or the veterinary emergency room.

After having been administered Drontal Plus all the feces of the dogs and cats must be incinerated and the infected animals must be kept in a veterinary clinic under observation for a period of twenty eight days.

Moreover, after having been administered Drontal Plus the E. multilocularis eggs may be destroyed by soaking the feces in Sodium Hypochlorite (bleach) and all areas that have come in contact with the animal must be disinfected with Sodium Hypochlorite (bleach).

Do not double doses to make up for a missed dose. Consult the veterinarian about the missed dose.

Drontal Plus is a broad spectrum deworming medicine.

Drontal Plus is also used to help treat the alveolar Hydatid disease in human beings.

Moreover, Drontal Plus is also used to help treat Hookworms, Roundworms, Tapeworms and Whipworms in dogs and cats.

Furthermore, Drontal Plus is also used to help treat ascarids, Toxascaris Leonine, the Echinococcus species, the Taenia Taeniaeformis species and the Dipylidium species in dogs and cats.

Lastly, Drontal Plus may even be used to help treat Toxocara Canis and Trichuris Vulpis only in dogs.
